Investment Committee and Management Team

A 40-member investment committee operates within the Club framework. The committee comprises three groups:

  • Members with extensive experience in management and investment in various sectors – hi-tech, biomed, banking and insurance, real estate, infrastructure, energy, etc.
  • Members with extensive experience in investment and finance
  • Members with extensive experience in legal and financial consulting

Jacob Neuwirth (Noy), Colonel (res.)

Chairman and CEO of the Club.

Jacob has many years of experience in management and investment in the hi-tech sector. Was formerly co-owner and CEO of the DSIT hi-tech company, and prior to that Head of the Israeli Navy’s Computer Center.

Vice Chairman of the Club

Aaron has many years of experience in management and investment in the insurance and finance sectors. Was formerly CEO of the Ayalon Insurance Company, and prior to that CEO of the Avner Insurance Company.

Alex Eyal, Rear Admiral (ret.)

Business consultant to hi-tech companies. Former VP Operation at Keter Plastic. In his last position in the Israeli Navy he served as Head of Navy Modernization Programs – Saar 5 corvettes and Dolphin submarines.

Moshe Alon

Entrepreneur, CEO and director of private and public companies in the software, communications, service and venture capital sectors. Served as Chairman of the Calanit Group. Work experience in the UK, the US and Israel.

Ruth Alon

Founder and former CEO of the Netvision internet company. Serves as director and consultant to software and internet startups and public organizations.

Menachem Akerman

Former CEO of Eldor and of the Gvanim Cable Television Company.

Adv. Nachum Bitterman

Served as General Counsel and Senior VP at Bank Leumi.

Uri Ben Noon

Former CEO of the Israel Electric Corporation and of the Dead Sea Works.

Former CEO of the Kahal Study Fund.

Roni Einav

One of the pioneers of Israel's hi-tech industry. Founder of tens of companies, his most notable success being New Dimension Software, which was sold in 1999 for some $700 million to BMC Software. Currently heads Einav Hi-Tech Assets, which invests in startups.

Yigal Galli

Served as CEO of the Maabarot Group, CEO of the Tnuva Food Division and Deputy CEO for International Operations at the Strauss Group. Currently: Owner and Chairman of several organic food and agro companies.

Baruch Gindin

Former President of Gartner Middle East.
Coordinator of the Club's hi-tech activity.

Prof. Jack Baniel

Internationally renowned urologist. Serves as Chief of the Urology Section at the Rabin Medical Center and as Deputy Head of the Davidoff Cancer Center.

Yair Geller

One of Israel's foremost advertising executives. Former Chairman of the Israeli Advertising Association, former Chairman of the Publicis Groupe, founder of the Geller-Nessiss Advertising Agency.

Boaz Linenberg

Former Executive Vice President at the Eliyahu and Phoenix insurance companies. Serves as a director of the Xenia Venture Capital technology incubators and the Xenia Van Leer technology incubator in Jerusalem.

Esther Levanon

Former CEO of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, former Director of the TASE Information Technology and Operations Department, founder of the Computer and IT Department of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).

Ronny Maliniak

Former CEO of the International Development Division of Shikun & Binui and member of management in charge of coordinating real estate operations. Currently: Director of companies, engaging in consulting, management and raising capital for real estate companies and other investments.

Yitzhak Malach, Colonel (ret)

Former Head of the Operations and Information Systems Division and Deputy CEO at Bank Leumi. Served as Head of the IDF Computer and Information Systems Center.

Michael (Mike) Netz

Investor and director of companies in the healthcare sector. Served as Vice President of Teva Industries and as CEO of Teva Israel.

Shlomo Markel, Ph.D, Rear Admiral (ret)

Vice President of Broadcom Corp., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ramot, the Technology Transfer Arm of Tel Aviv University. Former Chief of Materiel Command in the Israeli Navy.

Ehud Savyon, Colonel (ret)

CEO of Derech Eretz Highways (Highway 6). Served in senior positions in the Israeli Navy.
Former coordinator of the Club's infrastructure activity.

Joseph Pickel

Former CEO of EMC. Currently: Partner in a venture capital fund, serving as well as a consulting director in several startup companies.

Avi Pery, Colonel (ret)

Served as CEO of the Inventec venture capital fund, as Vice President at Elron and as Head of the IDF Computer and Information Systems Center.

Dr. Israel Frieder

Chairman and director in several hi-tech companies. Lecturer on business strategy and entrepreneurship in MBA courses. Served as CEO of ECI & DNI in the USA, CEO of Kardan Communications and CEO of Tadiran Civil Communications.

Amiram Shor

One of the pioneers of information technology and hi-tech in Israel. Established and managed MLL Software and Computer Industries Ltd. Founded the Inventec Venture Capital Fund. Serves as a consultant to the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology in several districts in China.

Patir Ziva

Served for more than a decade as CEO of the Standards Institute of Israel. Former Chair of the Technical Management Board of the ISO international standards organization. Active in the business and public sectors. Serves as a director of companies and consultant to governmental and private bodies.

Dr. Itzhak Shemer

Consultant, Head of the Information Systems Management program at the Israel Academic College. Former Regional Director at Gartner Consulting, former Manager of Israel Discount Bank's Information Systems Division.

Ariel Rozenberg

Real estate expert, former Director of Sales at the Mashav Real Estate Company.

Prof. Eldar Micha

Former Head of the Cardiology Institute at the Sheba Medical Center.

Arbiv Herzl

Business consultant and mentor. Member of the Givat Shmuel City Council. Held senior management positions at HP and Motorola Israel, serving in his last position as CEO of Motorola Mobility.

Arazi Dan

Senior hi-tech entrepreneur. One of the founders of the Orckit hi-tech company.
Coordinates the Club's contacts with the Keiretsu Forum.

Dalia Peled

Co-CEO and owner of the "People and Computers" conference and communications group. Her husband and partner in "People and Computers" is Peli "The Tiger" Peled, an entrepreneur and IT industry leader. Dalia is also a magician and the first Honorary President of the Israeli Magicians Association.
